Tolu Lawrence is a Nigerian-American feminist and attorney with over a decade of experience bringing together leading nonprofits, foundations, social enterprises, and brands to develop and support mission-driven initiatives that further social good. She works with global organizations to lead the expansion of partnership development across sectors to further strategic growth, sustainability, and impact. 

Prior to launching Tolu + Co., Tolu led strategic partnerships at The Representation Project, developing gender equality campaigns, events, and initiatives with socially conscious brands, including Harry’s, Lucasfilm, Spotify, Unilever, and more. She also chaired the International Track of the largest HIV/AIDS conference in the United States, created the San Francisco Foundation’s Bay Area Bold Summit and Festival, and was recognized for her work in organizing the 4th Annual San Francisco Women’s Policy Summit. 

With a focus on intersectional gender equality and healthy masculinity, Tolu leads Strategic Growth at Promundo-US, serves as an advisor to Feminist.com and sits on the boards of MotherCoders and PL+US. Tolu holds a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and is a member of the California Bar.
